DMP Sharks visit Carnegie
Darlington Mowden Park Sharks will visit Leeds Met on Monday 22nd ahead of the announcement of their newly formed relationship with the University. The women’s rugby union team will take part in strength and conditioning training followed by an endurance session at Carnegie with Sports Performance Officer, Tracey Neville.
Once formalised the partnership will see DMP Sharks use the sports facilities and receive sports science support throughout the year at Carnegie. DMP Sharks currently occupy top spot in the RFUW Championship North and boast three full England internationals, as well as two England Development and one U20 player including Leeds Met Graduate Trainee Sam Jamieson.
