Short to start for England U20'S

 
Darlington Mowden Park Shark's very own ginger ninja will once again take to the field for the England youngsters this week in the second year of the U20's Nations Cup.

Juliet Short has been given the go ahead and selected to start at Lock against the in form Canadian side this thursday. After undergoing hip surgery at the end of last season, Julz was incapacitated for most of the season, but is hoping to make her presence known once again on this, her 7th apperance for the U20's.

Commenting on her selection, Short said ..... "I'm very nervous but at the same time very excited to put the England shirt on and play for my country".

The series of games run from July 9th until July 18th and are being played at Brunel University. In addition to England and Canada, Wales and USA will be battling for the prestigious title of Nations Cup.

The senior Nations Cup will be contested at the same venue in August this year, during which England Women hope to retain the championship.
