I moved to the UK from my home in the West of Ireland over 5 and a half years ago after travelling around the World for a year. I had never played rugby before but was persuaded to come down to play rugby league for Peterlee Pumas by one of my work colleagues at the ripe old age of 27! I was a bit of a late bloomer! There I met some girls that played rugby union for Hartlepool WRUFC and so I started playing union with them and haven’t looked back!
I have played for NE Regional for the last two years, not that I’m any good but I love the challenge of playing at a higher level! I still enjoy playing the odd league game for Peterlee to keep my fitness up and get some games over the summer.
I’m the geek of the group as I like computers….well it is my job! I usually get asked about the nerdy things that nobody else cares about!
