I was born in Darlington.
I went to Carmel RC Technology College before spending a year at Houghall College.
I started playing rugby when I was seven as my Grandad was the president of Darlington Rugby Club. I stopped playing when I was 10 as I couldnt play with the boys anymore. Started playing again at 14 for DMP girls. Was then on county and regional girls squad.
At 16 went to Houghall for a year and played for Thirsk and did some England ur 19. Got a million injuries and stopped playing again untill i was 20.
