I was born in North Tees Hospital in 1989, then went to three primary schools then to Thornaby community school.
I got into rugby at the age of 12 when some people from rugby league came to our school and i got selected to go to a talent camp for a weekend, at the end of the talent camp bearing in mind i had never touch a rugby ball before in my life i was offered a two year contract at Halifax but turned it down as it was to far to travel there. so then i found Mowden park and been their ever since and had a lot of success within 2-3 months of joining Mowden i was selected for Durham County and the North East squad. In 2006 I was named player of the tournament in the national 7s, from their i was named to take part in the 2006 performance camp down at Loughborough which was fun and interesting. this is my first season for the sharks and hope their is many more to come.
