I went to Acklam Grange School (1997-2002) I did English Lit, French History and German at Prior Pursglove College in Guisborough (2002-04), then went to Northumbria University to study English Lit. I have now finished uni and work as a debt collector, bar supervisor and waitress.
I played hockey all the way through school and college and tried my hand at various other sports such as football, netball, tennis, shotput, discus and high jump but when I went to uni I was approached at the Fresher's Fair by a tiny scrum half who accosted me and said I looked like I fancied a game of rugby. After a week's worth of violent protesting against such a rough game that was totally unsuited to girls I gave in and did a 4-year stint (and lost as many stones) on the uni rugby team, and was vice captain in 06/07.
I played 3 seasons with Blaydon then transferred to Sharks during the 07/08 season and am now here for the long haul!
